How much does a logo design cost?
The cost of a logo varies on the type of logo you are looking for, and the number of deliverables. Before you meet with us, we advise doing some research and creating a mood board of images that represent your company and the styles of logos you like. This will help us decide the cost of your logo.
Can you design something for me same day?
We prefer working on projects that allow us to do some research, think about the best approach to design that will be effective, and allows time for any edits. We recommend giving time to complete a project and not rushing. For simple designs for social media posts, we can knock them out same day or in 24 hours.
Who owns the rights to the design?
It’s important to be aware that under US Copyright law, the designer automatically holds all rights to the work they create. This means that unless the rights are explicitly transferred to you in a proposal or contract, you are only implied the right to use or reproduce (print) the work. The exception to this is work-for-hire, which applies to full-time employees, but not freelancers unless otherwise stated in your/their contract. It’s crucial to carefully review and clarify the ownership and usage rights of the work in your agreement with the designer to avoid any misunderstandings.
Can I use a picture in my logo?
A picture can not be used in a logo. A logo is created with shapes, lines, and fonts that can be scaled to any size without losing any resolution. Unfortunately, a picture becomes pixelated when you attempt to size up if the image is a low-resolution image.
Can I use an image from my phone for my design?
If the image is high quality and high resolution, then yes we can use an image from your phone. We do not recommend it because we care about the presentation of your marketing material to your audience. Images from a phone tend to be not of the highest quality.
How many revisions do I get with the quote I receive?
We allow 3 revisions from the initial proof. If we pass the 3 revisions you will be invoiced overtime hours on the project at $100 an hour.
